Africa’s most popular video gaming and technology expo is underway, getting ready to take the continent by storm. An inside look of what’s going at rAge gives potential visitors an idea of what to look for during this year’s event. Scheduled to take place on 5-7 October at the Coca Cola Dome, guests can expect to see the latest in gaming tech, live eSports events, Cosplay demonstrations, the Artist’s Alley, and get an opportunity to get their hands on various collectible card games.
Reaching its ten-year milestone, rAge is developed and run by NAG Magazine, South Africa’s number one gaming and technology magazine. The gaming exhibition has experienced growth in the past few years, gradually gaining popularity by its game-driven guests.
From the latest games and consoles, to competitions and giveaways, rAge has it all. Powered by its dedicated audience, rAge serves as a medium by offering up-to-date news and insight to its growing gaming culture.
“We can’t wait for the show this year as our exhibitors are putting all their energy into making it a feast of technology for both hardcore and casual gamers. The line-up looks incredible,” said rAge’s Senior Project Manager and editor for Magazine Michael James.
TVR Computers will let visitors get a peak of some of the most sought-after brands in gaming, networking, and security. All new hardware and accessories from Huntkey, Palit, and ASRock will make an appearance; and guests will be given an opportunity to win prizes and chat with the TVR experts.
Learn 3D Computer Animation Training will be making a comeback, holding intense contests on their stands with one of the games developed by Learn 3D students. It also gives guests a chance to take part in some short, free illustration and 3D animation classes.
Artists will also be able to shine during the rAge expo. In the Artists Alley, local artists, both amateur and professional, put their art on display for visitors to see. Cosplay costume designers and student game developers will also show off some of their works to the world.
