Air combat fans prepare to take the fight of the skies to the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC! All ye Red Barons get ready to fly in Ace Combat Assault Horizon so find Snoopy and sit down for some tea as I explain what is going on.

NAMCO Bandai games Europe announced that Ace Combat Assault Horizon is available now on the PS3 and will be for the Xbox 360 come December 18, as well as Windows come Q1 of 2013.

This game will blow many minds. It is not the everyday aerial combat game, oh no. Ace Combat Assault Horizon means to change all we know of flight combat. The dogfights are extremely intense as the planes actually fall apart and spew oil and debris across the sky when pummeled with bullets or missals.  From the single-player campaign, to co-op and online multiplayer, gamers will find real world locations beautiful and breathtaking whilst dodging skyscrapers and enemy planes.

PC gamers be prepared for come Quarter one of 2013 we too can take to the skies in Ace Combat Assault Horizon Enhanced Edition. PC even gets its very own fancy title plus upgraded graphics and unique controls. Also included are DLC items released on the console versions and players will have access to additional aircrafts and skins, skills, and maps. Multiplayer includes support through Games for Windows Live from Microsoft and will be available via Steam and Game for Windows Marketplace.

Okay so PlayStation owners do get the fancy title as well along with the original PlayStation 3 game and Tokyo and Honolulu maps and additional aircraft like the ASF-X Shinden II, Su-37 Terminator, AV-8B Harrier II plus, CFA-44 Nosferatu, and Ka-50 Hokum.

This game had been previously released in 2011 but got such huge remarks they are re-releasing it. PlayStation The Official Magazine gave it a 9 out of 10 and called it,”The most intense fun we’ve had in any game in a long time”. Xbox Magazine commented on the games “Exhilarating dogfights”. Destructoid.com called Ace Combat Assault Horizon “A complete revitalization of the series” and Kotaku.com said “The best bang for my flying buck”.

Ace Combat Assault Horizon is available now on the PlayStation Network for  £15.99 for the standard edition and £23.99 for the Advanced Edition. Xbox fans can get their hands on it December 18 for £15.99. PC gamers will have to wait a few more months though but it will cost them £23.99.
