Watch out sports people they appear to be targeting you
While speaking during their investors at their first Analytic Day in eight years, Samsung showed a slide during their presentation. Under the wearable group along with Samsung’s new smartwatch were what appear to be glasses. Along with this Samsung’s latest patent was labelled a type of “sport glasses” in Korea during October.
Attached to the patent were drawings of what the glasses may look like and it appears that the glasses will have a sporty look which makes sense because these smart glasses appear to be aimed at the sports market.
Well at least they look a little more ordinary than the Google Glass
Judging by the patent drawings the device has built-in earphones and it can be connected to your smartphone. The earphones appear to be used so you can listen to calls or music with your glasses. On top of this the glasses also appear to feature lens that can be made either translucent or transparent although where not sure yet how.
Unfortunately but understandably a Samsung spokeswomen said that Samsung don’t comment on future product plans. The patent was revealed by The Wall Street Journal. Now it should be mentioned that these glasses are only on the patented stage and sometimes patents never get made or at the very least get a design change so don’t expect them to end up looking like the pictures okay.
