Brain Shape Games have announced that their first official release is now available to buy on the PC after a successful launch earlier this summer on the Xbox 360. SCHAR: Blue Shield Alliance is available to download now from Desura, the premier digital download service. The top-down space shooter from creator Nick Puleo has been specifically tailored for the PC. SCHAR: Blue Shield Alliance for the PC is said to have enhanced graphics, mouse and keyboard support and several undisclosed enhancements which will only be available on PC.
SCHAR: Blue Shield Alliance tells the story of mankind’s battle against the Constituents of Nothing (CoNs). In Blue Shield Alliance gamers must work together to complete various mission objectives in order to survive.
In the game after humans have explored the universe and encountered a devastating alien race from which they must protect their settlements from. They do this by powering shield generators which protect each planet.
SCHAR: Blue Shield Alliance is a large game which is packed with 36 story based missions, as well as 9 survival missions, 4 ship classes, a number of ship upgrades, and plenty of ‘couch co-op action’ for up to 4 players.

Blue Shield Alliance also features an impressive score created specially by Sean Beeson, who has previously composed the music for Assault Heroes 2.
There will be two different bundles of the PC game. The Standard Edition will cost £2.29 or $3.99 whilst the Special Edition will cost £3.99/ $4.99. The special edition is packed with a number of extras including the soundtrack, concept art, pdf printable manual, crew logs and more.
