Set sail on the high seas and raid colonies in the Caribbean with the new DLC for Port Royale 3: Pirates & Merchants.
Kalypso Media has announced to release a new DLC for the Windows PC version for the business simulation Port Royale 3: Pirates & Merchants. Titled Dawn of Pirates it will allow players to scavenge a new campaign while building an empire. Players will be able to try and fight their way to the top of the online leaderboards in the “Ironman” mode.
The goal of the DLC is to become the most swash-buckling pirate in the Caribbean. Raid cities and plunder for treasure while sailing the vicious seas.
The new pirated themed campaigned has an adjusted interface which will maximize gameplay. A challenge in the game allows you to try and beat the campaign without using save points.
The game Port Royale 3: Pirates & Merchants has players embarking on a sea sailing adventure around the Caribbean. Set during the 17th century, the powers of Spain, England, France, and the Netherlands will try to fight for domination.
Take the role as a captain that is trying to build his fortune among the new world colonies. The campaign allows two different paths for players to choose: adventurer and trader.
If player goes down the adventurer path they will be forced gain status by raiding, piracy, bounty hunting and plundering cities to try and build their empire. The trader route on the other hand has the player testing their economic abilities by setting up trade routes and building production facilities.
A free play mode that combines both paths will also be available for players, creating a challenging quest to gain wealth and conquer the Caribbean.
