At the Consumer Electronics Show is Las Vegas, Sony revealed its newest smartphone design, the Xperia Z. Sony showcased the smartphone capabilities and overall range during the show.
The Xperia Z will pack a snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core 1.5 MHz processor, 2GB of RAM, an Adreno 320 GPU and a five inch 1080p HD screen.
The Sony Xperia Z will also sport a 13-megapixel camera and support LTE and 4G technologies. Along with features such as Near-Field Communication (NFC) tech that will allow it to communicate with other suitable Sony devices like Bravia TVs and more then likely, the PlayStation 4.
As of now, the NFC tech is mainly used for mirroring, allowing mobile games to be played on Sony TVs.
Gamers will also be pleased to know that Sony will be integrating the PlayStation Mobile portion of its PlayStation store into the device, so players have the ability to play game like Super Crate Box, Alien Breed, You Are the Ref and Lemmings. Also, once purchased these titles will be availible on the PS Vita too, free of course.
The Sony Xperia Z will carry Andriod so access to the Google Play Store is granted.
