Publisher and developer NAMCO BANDAI announced that Soul Calibur II HD online will soon be available on Xbox Live Arcade and Playstation Network. It has been called one of the best fighting games of all time, and will return to consoles this year with new High definition graphics and online modes for the ten year anniversary.
Developed by Project Soul, the team at NAMCO BANDAI studios, the beloved title will be getting multiplayer support and a vibrant graphic overhaul. Players will be able to fight opponents from around the world with their favorite characters such as Ivy, Taki, Mitsurugi, Talim, Maxi and others. The Online mode will also feature a new Netcode overseen by the team.
The new version of the game will also have new modes that were found in the original release: Arcade, Survival, VS battle, Time attack, Team Battle, Practice, and Weapon’s Master. Soul Calibur II will let friends relive one of the best entries in the franchise in HD and online, and get to play some of the characters from the past.
