NAMCO BANDAI have announced today that SOULCALIBUR II HD Online is now available for download
The leading video game publisher has made the game available for download as an arcade game via the Live network for the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation network for the PlayStation®3.
Developed by PROJECT SOUL, NAMCO BANDAI’s elite development team, SOULCALIBUR II HD Online has been brought back to life with the addition of online multiplayer as well as powerful updated graphics to make it more suitable for modern high definition TVs. The game, which has been credited as one of the best fighting games of all time, is back on consoles with exciting new graphics and all new online modes to celebrate 10 years of exciting gameplay. Players can now fight thier way through the game with the legendary heroes, SPAWN and HEIHACHI, playable on both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 for the first time ever.
SOULCALIBUR II™ HD Online is a port of the highly succesful Soulclaibur II. Soulclaibur II is a weapon-based fighting game and is the third installment in the Soul series. THe plot revolves around a range of characters, each with the goal of either destroying Soul Edge or obtaining it to achieve personal goals. The game was originally released for the arcades in 2002, and was later released for the GameCube, PlayStation 2and Xbox in 2003.
