Splash or Crash and Pac-Man Amongst Nintendo Downloads

splash-of-crash-nintendo-3ds_166006Nintendo have announced their new digital content downloads for this week. Splash or Crash is now available to download now on the Nintendo 3DS eShop. Nintendo have also announced a number of other downloads including Pac-Man, and Easter Eggztravaganza on the 3DS and Dsi respectively. Wii users can download a number of new games this week including Retro City Rampage, Reel Fishing Ocean Challenge via WiiWare.


In Splash or Crash, gravity is the players greatest enemy. Gamers play as the stone, iron ball, jewel or other items found in the abyss. Each items has different speed and durability. In the game, players are given the task of guide items descent, avoid obstacles and stay in one piece until splashdown. Splash or Crash allows gamers to unlock more items and new tougher wells. The game also allows high score comparison via StreetPass.

Crash or Splash is available on the 3DS eShop for £2.69 or €2.99.


Pac-Man needs no introduction; as one of the most popular video games ever made. In this NES version of the game, gamers move Pac-Man through the mazes, avoiding ghosts and eating all the pellets. Each ghost behaves differently. When Pac-Man chomps a power pellet, he becomes invincible, and is able to eat the blue ghosts. The more ghosts Pac-Man eats in a row, the higher the score. Gamers should also remember to eat the bonus fruit.

Pac-Man is available on the 3DS eShop for €4.99 or £4.49.


Easter Eggztravaganza is a DsiWare game which takes place in an Easter Wonderland. In the game players must take part in the ultimate Easter Egg Hunt. Gamers can also play mini games such as spot-the-difference, jigsaw puzzles and many more in an Easter Eggztravaganza for all the family to enjoy.

Easter Eggztravaganza is available on the Dsi shop for €4.99, £4.49 or 500 Points.


Retro City Rampage is an 8-bit nostalgic throwback which warps open-world carjacking back to the “80s”. Gamers can play over 60 story missions and over 40 arcade challenges where they borrow vehicles and outrunning the law whilst mowing down other citizens. Players can jump on pedestrians for coins, or use them for target practice with over 25 weapons and power-ups. Nintendo’s Retro City Rampage features an interactive open world filled with shops, arcades and casino games.

Retro City Rampage is available on WiiWare for 1000 points (around £10).

Reel Fishing Ocean Challenge is a WiiWare is a fishing game with over 40 missions and 20 types of fish to catch. The game is available for 500 WiiWare points.
