SpongeBob Planktons Robotic Revenge was announced by Activision Publishing Inc., in association with Nickelodeon, to be hitting consoles later this year. The game is a third-person, action-adventure game being developed by Behaviour Interactive. The game will feature an original story for the game, where Sheldon J. Plankton, who is know for his countless tries of stealing the Krusty Krab’s secret formula, has imagined a plan to build a huge mechanised army, threatening the calm see of Bikini Bottom. SpongeBob and his friends will have to find a way to stop Planktons evil plans as they protect the Krabby Patty Formula.
With the games blend of exploration, action, and puzzle solving, it will also feature references and humour from the 
original hit Nickelodeon animated TV show. You will also be able to play with other friends or gamers with a co-op party mode, crafting an experience that will be enjoyable for one, but even more fun with others. You will be able to choose between characters such as SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward, Sandy, or Mr. Krabs as you search the town for secret collectibles.
SpongeBob SquarePants: Plankton’s Robotic Revenge is currently expected to be available for purchase on the 22nd of October for the Wii U, Wii, Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo DS, the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 gaming consoles. The Co-op mode will allow players to play with 5 other players on Wii U or 4 others on Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and Wii. The 3DS and DS versions will feature no co-op play.
