Tandem Events Present London’s Evolve Conference

On October 2012 Tandem Events publicized the first sessions date for the Evolve Conference set in London on December 11, 2012. The lineup will include expert speakers in the fields of ground-breaking technologies, approaching platforms and new business models. Evolve will concentrate on innovations in games development, studying how technology developers can stay on top of the game in an increasingly competitive.

Josh Atkins of Microsoft will be discussing the steps of creating a fan interactive television show. Atkins will use his previous knowledge with dealing with development of Kinect Sesame Street TV in partnership with Sesame Workshop; giving advice on all the opportunities ready to developers today and smart TV devices become more widely available.

The guru of mobile gaming, Stuart Dredge will hold a session on the year’s most creative apps for young children, with specific detail on how kids interact and respond to touchscreen programs and what the future has for this particular development.

The subject of funding will also be covered at the Evolve Conference in London, covered by Adam Martin of independent mobile developer Red Glasses. Martin will dissect the ways in which business models and funding for games have altered in the last few years and have they will continue to alter. Adam will cover crowd-sourcing, app stores, hoping to touch on issues involved in developing, selling, funding, pitching, or commissioning games.

These are just the first of eight sessions be publicized for this year’s Evolve Conference in London. Further details will be announced soon.

Immediately before Evolve, delegates can see Edge Presents: Changing the Game, an unique events organized jointly between Tandem Events and Future PLC and featuring two sessions discussing the future of game development.
