The Collectors have returned for the latest DLC addition to Mass Effect 3’s multiplayer mode in Mass Effect 3: Retaliation. The Mass Effect 3: Retaliation DLC is free until October 9th, and by “free” I mean you don’t have to pay for the DLC but you do have to have an XBox Live Gold account, a Playstation Network account, or an Origin account. And if you have an Origin account, it’s nice to meet you.
Do you feel terribly alone and have you heard of Steam? The download will be available in North America on October 9th and in Europe on October 10th. The reason behind this is unclear, so I’ll just assume that it’s for reasons.
Mass Effect 3: Retaliation will allow players to save the galaxy again. They’ve added hazards to existing maps such as acid, lightning, sandstorms, and more. There are new factions such as the Collector Praetorian, Scion, and Trooper. The Geth also have new Drones, so that might even things out a bit.
There are also new weapons like the Collector Assault Rifle and a Sniper Rifle, as well as new class kits like the Turian Havoc Soldier and the Turian Ghost Infiltrator. New content will be added over time, so this ought to keep you busy for a while. I hope you aren’t tired of saving the galaxy, because it appears it will always be in need of saving. It’s pretty helpless as far as galaxies go, which is great if you’re a go-getter. If you aren’t, then it looks like you, and the galaxy, are out of luck. Perhaps there will be an add-on that allows you to sit on your space couch and eat alien popcorn while you watch everything get destroyed. Doesn’t sound so fun now, does it? Get off your lazy, alien butt and go save the galaxy. Quit being such an intergalactic freeloader.
