The Dragon Ball Z Universe Comes to the Kinect

Namco Bandai Games announced that the latest Dragon Ball Z game, Dragon Ball Z for Kinect, is now currently available at retailers

The Dragon Ball Z for Kinect game includes all the action and intense battles in the Dragon Ball Z universe but is now included with the unique sense of engagement that only the Kinect can provide gamers with. Players can use their very own bodies, especially their fists, to clobber their enemies with over 100 different moves. The player can take control of different characters and unleash the power of the famous Kamehameha attack as they fight their way to victory against their opponents in the revolutionized Dragon Ball Z game series.

Dragon Ball Z For Kinect, created and developed by Spike Chunsoft Co. Ltd, provides epic battles, legendary attacks, and over 50 of your favourite Dragon Ball Z characters recreated from the original manga series. Dragon Ball Z for Kinect allows players to take full control of their strength and inner Super Saiyans for an intense battle with no controllers or triggers in any way. The game uses the full control of the motion sensing power of the Kinect.

The game will use the Kinect sensor’s abilities to support QR code functionality, allowing the players to scan special QR codes by holding them up to the Kinect sensor. These special QR codes for Dragon Ball Z for Kinect will unlock characters and power-ups in the game.

In the Dragon Ball Z for Kinect game, there will be two distinct modes to choose from which include the “Story Mode” and “Score Attack” modes. With the story mode, fans will experience the fascinating story, battles, and events all in a first-person perspective for the first time ever. The game’s fights use anime-style camera work depending on the player’s ability to recreate their character’s moves and attacks from specific moments in the actual Dragon Ball Z anime. Players will get to experience spectacular boss battles like never before, with CG cut scenes and unique controls. The score attack mode will put opponents against each other in one-on-one battles to see who the best fighter is.

Dragon Ball Z for Kinect is now available everywhere at retailers for gamers and fans to pick up a copy.
