Eidos Montreal has just announced that the latest entry of the Thief series which will be sneaking past the current generation consoles and heading straight to the Xbox ONE.
Eidos Montreal are hoping to use the Xbox ONE’s technology to make Thief the best and most immersive game in the series to date. Considering how well they did with Deus Ex Human Revolution I think that they could do it. There was some disappointment with the last game Deadly Shadows.
Eidos Montreal has also confirmed that they will be showing off more of Thief at this year’s E3 so if you’re going to E3 this year don’t forget to visit the Square Enix booth when E3 comes to the South Hill.
Along with the Xbox ONE, Thief will also come out for the PlayStation 4 and Windows PC in 2014. Instead of releasing a trailer Eidos Montreal released this image in order to show a glimpse of the next generation graphics.
On a side note if this is a glimpse of the fire effects on the next generation of consoles , we have a lot to look forward to with the new consoles.
