Titanfall: Collectors edition, now available for pre-order in limited quantities.
EA have recently announced that Titanfall, the debut game from from indie developer Respawn Entertainment, will be hitting shelves on March the 11th in North America and March the 14th in the UK, exclusively for Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC. Titanfall has been winning awards left, right and centre currently with a massive 80 to its name. It was created by one of the co-creators of Call of Duty along with other key designers from the massive franchise, TItanfall offers a brand new online experience that combines a fast and exciting multi-player mode that is challenging other online modes from games of its genre.
Vince Zampella, one of the co-creaters of Call of Duty and co-founder of Respawn recently said, “Since we revealed the game in June we’ve been absolutely blown away by the reaction to Titanfall. The feedback we’re getting from fans around the world is fuelling our team as we head towards March and motivating us to deliver an experience that lives up to the hype.”
Also being released at the same time, is the Titanfall: Collectors edition, which include with the game an exclusive 18″ hand crafted Atlas Titan statue with battery powered LED lighting, a huge art book featuring just under 200 pages of rare concept art and an exclusive schematic poster of the Atlas Titan.
Titanfall sees the protagonist dropped in the middle of an all out war between the Interstellar Manufacturing Corporation and the Militia, all of which takes place on a distant frontier set in the future. The action features parkour style running, huge jumps and the ability to hijack titans. The player also has the freedom to switch between pilot and titan allowing the chance to changed tactics on flying, attacking or escaping, extending the action beyond what has been experienced in this type of game before.
Both editions of the game will be available on Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC from March the 11th 2014 in North America and March the 14th 2014 in the UK.
