So are you done with two of these games yet?
As Grand Theft Auto 5 gets closer to its release date, gamers everywhere are now no doubt saving as much as they can to get it but what if there was a way to get it during its midnight release for free. Well as it turns out Blockbuster has just announced that customers who trade in selected games at Blockbuster.
You have to trade in two titles of the following list of games and remember that you’ll need either the PS3 or Xbox 360 version of the game for it to count towards the game.Okay, okay enough stalling here’s the list.
- Call of Duty Black Ops 2
- Deadpool
- Diablo 3
- Disney Infinity Starter Pack
- Injustice Gods Among Us
- Killer is Dead
- Lost Planet 3
- Rayman Legends
- Rugby Challenge 2
- Saints Row IV
- Splinter Cell Blacklist
- Walking Dead The Survivors
While most of the games on this list do make sense like Deadpool, Injustice and Black Ops 2, I have to ask why is Disney Infinity the list of trade-in games for Grand Theft Auto 5. Maybe it’s just me but that seems a little out-of-place.
Of course there are terms and conditions for this like every other offer besides the standard terms and conditions for trade-ins. For starters you’ll only get the game when you trade-in if the trade-in and the purchase happen in the same transaction.
Obviously this offer can’t happen online and it’s subjected to availability and suitability. Also while the selected games are those who have a retail price of up to 47.99 Grand Theft Auto 5 and the Atomic Blimp DLC is currently priced on Blockbuster for £39.85.
The head of games in Blockbuster James Morton has said that
“The anticipation for GTA V has been building for months and we have seen this reflected in the pre-orders that we’ve taken. We’re delighted to be offering such a great deal for all our customers and anticipate a great response to this in the coming days”.
