Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed puts SEGA’s favourites back on the starting grid for more adrenaline fuelled races across multiple terrains!
Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed is the latest outing by Sega into the kart racing genre, and this time they’re putting the pedal to the metal by giving players the chance to race across land, sea and air!
Players will be able to race their favourite SEGA characters across 16 dynamically changing courses inspired by SEGA’s gaming history in Sonic&All-Stars Racing Transformed. Each All-Star comes equipped with their own vehicle that will change mid-race from a car, to a boat or even a plane, and players will need to master each form of racing to truly dominate the track!
The added challenge to Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed lies in the dynamically changing vehicles and tracks, where players will need to memorise each track and master each method of control to truly be the fastest racer. Discover alternate routes, find new powerups and shortcuts as the river you once sailed down is now dry and you ahve to drive down it, every track feels different.
Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed boasts some impressive changes to the All-Stars racing games, some of them include:
- Choose your Racer: Over 20 legendary All-Stars are back, and the starting line-up has been transformed to allow some new iconic characters from SEGA to join in the race.
- Dynamic Tracks: Race through 16 dynamically changing courses inspired by SEGA’s gaming history. Discover alternate routes, find new powerups and avoid new hazards as each track plays out differently.
- Tools of Devastation: Take command of an arsenal of deadly weapons which will take skill and precision to aim, shoot and evade. All-Star moves also make a comeback, with players earning more points in the meter the more stylishly they race.
- Ultimate Gaming Experience: Old rivalries can be settled and new ones created, with Sonic & All-Star Racing Transformed supposrting up to 8 player online multiplayer across modes such as Challenges, Grand Prix, Battle Arena and even a World Tour.
Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed will hit stores for the Xbox 360, PS3, PC, Vita, 3DS on November 16th 2012, and will also be released on Wii U on November 30th 2012.
