So how many MMORPG’s can you name of that let you play as a politician
WAKFU is the latest entry in the ever increasing MMORPG genre and comes to us from Ubuntu who may also remember since you can also download a little known indie game Bastion on their site Ubuntu.
Ubuntu itself is a free operating system that is used by over 20 million desktop PC, Laptop and server users around the world.
WAKFU is a tactical turn based MMO (think of it a little like a MMO version of Disgaea) that takes place in the World of Twelve and sees you create a character out of 14 different classes
Your main goal in WAKFU is to solve the world’s mysteries like a great flood when you not reading the land for all its hidden treasure of course.
You can also do MMO standards like create guilds with your friends as well as choose to specialise in a profession when you’re not questing.
If however you want to try something a little different from the MMO norm become a politician and try and beat everyone else in the race to become the next governor.
If you’re interested in trying WAKFU yourself than you should know that the game is subscription based like WoW but it does have a Free-to-Play version available as well and you can download it at the following link as there no system requirement.
