Updates on Eurogamer

The Eurogamer Expo, the largest game convention in the UK, is on its way. Scheduled to take place at Earls Court in London from 27th to 30th September, 2012, there is quite a bit of hype surrounding the show. Steadily, information has been released as to what to expect during this year’s convention, only adding to the already boiling excitement.

Eurogamer Expo proudly announced that SEGA titles such as Gearbox Software’s highly-anticipated Aliens: Colonial Marines, The Cave, and Hell Yeah! will be playable during the show.

Guests will be able to get an early look at Aliens: Colonial Marines and a chance to experience its all new multiplayer mode, Escape. The Cave’s co-op mode and Hell Yeah!’s single player mode will also be playable during the show.

Eurogamer Expo also revealed that attendees will be able to experience an exclusive Rome 2: Total War developer session on 27th September at 3pm.

"We're really delighted to welcome SEGA back to the Eurogamer Expo," commented Events Director David Lilley. "Aliens: Colonial Marines is looking like a fantastic take on classic IP, both The Cave and Hell Yeah! are very eye-catching titles that should stand out for attendees, and Rome 2 is setting a new standard for strategy titles."

Treyarch’s highly-anticipated Call of Duty: Black Ops II is also making an appearance at Eurogamer. UK gamers will be among the first to play the upcoming blockbuster before it’s available for retail nationwide on 13th November.

"Call of Duty is the biggest entertainment franchise in the world, and we're delighted to offer Eurogamer Expo attendees the chance to go hands-on and play Call of Duty: Black Ops II Multiplayer before its release this November. Treyarch’s innovative approach to multiplayer and emphasis in eSports stands to make this year’s Eurogamer Expo incredibly exciting and one fans won’t want to miss," said Eurogamer Events Director David Lilley.

This year’s Eurogamer Expo promises to be the biggest one to date, bringing a ton of playable games, including first-looks, to the show floor. If you’re in the UK, don’t miss out. Buy your tickets here.
