Gaijin Entertainment, developer and publisher announced today that they are the first CIS-located company to win at the Gamescom awards 2013. The company won the “Best Simulation” for the franchise and MMO military game War Thunder.
The award is one of the most coveted and is nominated by a jury of leading video game critics from the United States and Europe’s most respected media outlets. Tens of thousands of visitors went to Cologne and walked away wowed by the demo of War of Thunder for Playstation 4 after the release of the beta for PC.
War Thunder, is a Playstation 4 launch title and is in open beta for PC. War Thunder is MMO combat game that combines unique online gameplay, that puts players in the popular World War II era aerial and ground force battles.

War Thunder is open for beta on PC, and over three million players have already enjoyed the experience of aerial combat. The fan base and community continues to grow with the release of the Steam digital distribution platform.
