Microsoft has unveiled two new additions to entertainment on Xbox Live. Xbox LIVE will feature the UK Premiere of the new British comedy Pulp coming in March 2013. Microsoft Studios have also announced a new digital poker game set for release in spring 2013.
World Series of Poker: Full House Pro will be available on the Xbox 360 and Windows 8 devices. Its set for release this spring and has been described as ‘the most visually stunning digital poker game on the market. World Series of Poker: Full House Pro” takes the Xbox LIVE Arcade hit “Full House Poker,” to a whole new level. In the game, poker players can build their bankrolls as they compete against opponents from around the world. Players can also personalise their experience with flashy avatar accessories, amazing chip tricks, and real-world casinos.
World Series of Poker: Full House is free to play on Xbox LIVE, gamers can jump in and play with real competitors anytime. Each day you will receive a free stack of chips to kickstart the climb to the top of the leaderboard. The game features cross compatibility; players can pick up and play across Xbox 360 and Windows 8 platforms. This means gamers can resume your game anytime, anywhere. World Series of Poker: Full House Pro features a variety of game modes ranging from single table games and full blown tournaments. The game also provides commentary from ESPN announcers Lon McEachern and Norman Chad provide commentary during play, providing an authentic poker experience.
Pulp is an indie comedy set in a world where comic book publishing and international crime intersect. Pulp has become a counter-culture phenomenon on the global festival circuit. The premiere marks an innovative move in UK film distribution as Pulp will be instantly available for free to millions of Xbox fans firstly via the Xbox Video app on Xbox. Pulp is rated 15 and will be free to all Xbox LIVE gold members.
