505 Games have announced that their best selling game Terraria, is set to be released on the PlayStation Vita
The critically acclaimed indie sandbox adventure title is due to be released on December the 11th in Europe and December the 17th in North America. Terraria is set in a vast and vibrant 2D world and enables players to explore and craft items. The game has received massive praise since its release with well over 3 millions players taking on the world in their own adventures since its release on PC in 2011. Terraria is now available to download from the PlayStation Store and includes loads of new exciting features including:
- PS Vita Cross-Platform Play which give players access to Terraria’s wide community and allows them to interact and play against PS3 users.
- A redesigned control system specifically for the Vita, an intuitive crafting/item interface and a completely new tutorial world.
- Multiplayer allows up to 8 players to play together fighting bosses, build awesome castles or dual each other with PvP combat.
- A glimpse of the soon to be released 1.2 update, including various new items and recipes, 2 brand new armor suits, more than 20 new NPS types including 8 new Zombie enemies and 6 new Demon Eye variants.
- Access to PlayStation Network leaderboard.
