A total of 11 new games were released this week for digital download for the Nintendo Systems, here is a quick recap of some of the games that were added:
- Sonic the Hedgehog 2: This is the original that was first released for the Game Gear console. This class places you as Sonic as you try to stop the evil Dr. Eggman.
- Spelunker: Places you in search for the legendary underground pyramid as you explorer through caves. While doing so though you will have to watch out for many different traps and enemies, including bats and the spirits of dead spelunkers that are everywhere in this huge underground maze.
These two games will be added to the Virtual Console on the Nintendo 3DS along with 2 other games, Crystal Warriors and Sonic Labyrinth. Now onto the new Nintendo eShop games for the Nintendo 3DS:
- Urban Trial Freestyle: This game brings new ideas and features to the already popular bike racing genre. It is also available for a discounted price until 9 a.m. PT on July the 4th.
- Project X Zone: Ghost Demo: Featuring many characters from some of the most known games in history, Project X Zone: Ghost Demo will put all of these characters on a adventure together. Including some characters from games by NAMCO, BANDAI, SEGA, and Capcom, the game is a strategy RPG that will have the best group of characters ever seen.
Crash City Mayhem, Kokuga, and Gabrielles Ghost Groove Mini will also be making there way to the Nintendo eShop with week. Along with all of these new released, Club Nintendo is having a bonus coin promotion where if you buy any Virtual Console game from the Nintendo eShop on the Wii U console you will earn 20 bonus Club Nintendo Coins. To take place in this promotion you must buy one of these games from now until 11:59 p.m. PT on Sunday, June 30th. Overall some very great released, and if you are a member of Club Nintendo you might want to pick up one of these games for the 20 extra coins.
