Warner Brothers and 5th Cell sued by meme creators

If you don’t know recently (when I wrote this) 5th Cell and Warner Brothers are being sued by two meme creators Charles Schmidt creator of Keyboard Cat and Christopher Orlander Torres creator of Nyan Cat. In Scribblenauts they were both Easter eggs but they didn’t pay either of the meme creators which is blatantly against copyright laws which was made by companies such as Warner Brothers.

“5th Cell is an independently owned video game developer founded in 2003 as 5th Cell Media, LLC. by Joseph M. Tringali, Jeremiah Slaczka and Brett Caird and currently develops video games for the iOS, Nintendo DS and Wii”

this is basics of 5th cell. I should say I like 5th Cell and they will probably not take too much damage from this Warner Brothers might though and I don’t mind Warner Brothers even though sometimes they are a bit iffy.

I am on the side of the meme makers because from both a legal and moral point they are in the right they should have been credited. Also the creators did send them messages before they sued them they didn’t want this to happen.

I should say for the sake of fairness that they did get their copyright after the first game. But they aren’t complaining about the first game (I think) so that doesn’t make a difference.

In conclusion Warner Brother will take the brunt and lose some money and I hope they learn and stop doing stupid stuff. I hope a very little amount of bad stuff happen to 5th Cell as I both like them and how they work.

Thanks for reading.
