  • Today the publisher known as Lace Mamba Global confirmed the content of the soon to be released Krater Collector’s Edition, which is priced at a reasonable £19.99/€19.99. Included within the Collector’s Edition will be:

    · The full game
    · Dr Cerberus special character pack
    · Krater soundtrack-CD
    · 40-page “The Art of Krater” book, designed exclusively for the retail version of Krater
    · A double-sided poster

The game takes place around a gigantic impact crater where cities have been built on and even whole nations emerged from the rubble and aftermath of a huge bomb explosion. The center of the crater is an abyss that stretches deeper into Earth than anyone has ever been able to dig previously.

One of the players’ main goals is to build a team and try to get as deep as possible into the abyss. The game world offers several joinable factions and groups, such as the Free-diggers, for example, bands of fortune seekers who compete with each other to excavate valuable pre-armageddon technology from an endless system of tunnels, caves and bunkers, called the Underside.

Krater presents a post-apocalyptic top down action RPG and is based around extensive crafting, exploration and consequence. Which to me sounds like a hybrid of things we love from other popular games. The extensive crafting allows you to craft unique abilities, weapons and items for you to go around and serve some of your very own justice with. Other gameplay element’s that Krater includes is character persistence, where both injuries and experience work in conjunction and are key elements to evolve the player’s team over time. Krater combines combat mechanics of action-RPGs with top-down tactics of classic old-school dungeon crawlers to present to players a possibly challenging but fun game.

Krater will be dropping in retail stores in the UK and Ireland on August 17th 2012 and August 31st 2012 in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Einfo Games said in their Krater Review ” Anyone looking for a casual stroll through the end of the world will definitely want to pick up this right now. ”

  • Announced by Namco Bandai Games America Inc, Tales Of Graces F will be released in Europe later this Summer.

It will include added extras exclusive to European fans, for one day only.

It was officially released in North America on the 13th March 2012.

It is at heart a Japanese RPG, with amazingly animated graphics, a dramatic storyline and a real-time battle system.

The game is set in the middle of a conflict between 3 kingdoms competing for planetary dominance. The story follows Asbel Lhant and his friends, as they discover just how far they will go to protect the bonds of friendship in a quest far beyond their comprehension.

“The Tales of series’ strong characters, captivating stories and signature real-time battle system have earned it some of NAMCO BANDAI Games’ most diehard fans,” said Carlson Choi, vice president of marketing for NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc.

“Tales of Graces f  continues with that tradition and we are excited for those fans to help us foster and grow the community for the Western market.”

Tales of Graces F will add a new combat system which lets the player change his/her combat system depending on the situation.

The characters will have two different attack styles at hand, which will add depth to the battles, but has also been made to be easier to control.

Post launch DLC for Tales Of Graces F will include character costumes and accessories, some of which will add stat boosts and allow you to listen to classic Tales Of battle music.

Here is a trailer for the game:
