Join the fight against the demon threat, become your very own demon hunter and help Dante take down the demon menace in Capcom’s free mobile app, The Eye of Dante. In order to celebrate the release of Devil May Cry, Capcom has announced today the release of The Eye of Dante, a free mobile app made with the help of fellow developer Augmented Reality experts Aurasma. The Eye of Dante will reward players with in-game currency that can be redeemed and used in the console version of Devil May Cry which will launch worldwide on January 15, 2013.
In The Eye of Dante, join The Order, the society formed within the world of Devil May Cry formed to fight off the demon threat, and challenge yourself to different quests and achieve specific objectives in order to earn points towards your ranking. Completing a mission will reward you with exclusive unlockable rewards like wallpapers, ringtones and don’t forget about those points that can be redeemed within the console game.
Another cool feature in The Eye of Dante allows players to use their own phones camera. Discover hidden messages behind real-world items and objects while you walk down the street, just like Dante’s ability to see through the lies the demons spew out in the game.
Next to the in-game awards and camera features, The Eye of Dante will be giving players to chance to personalize photos that have been taken with their cameras and upload them to share with friends on Facebook or Twitter.
The Eye of Dante is available now in the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store for free! Get going and download the game, get those rewards and get ready for the release of Devil May Cry!
