Welcome To Part 1 Of Dead Space – A Journey Through Terror Series

The Dead Space Mini Series, titled A Journey Through Terror, is sure to excite fans of the series, new and old. The series comes in four parts.
This is particularly exciting for new players to the series. EA did well in doing this to help catch up the newer members of the community on what has happened so far across the previous games in anticipation for Dead Space 3. Dead Space 3 was released on February 5, 2013 for NA and February 8, 2013. If you’re still on the ropes about whether or not to buy Dead Space 3 watch the video’s and see what you think of the story so far.
SPOILERS AHEAD: If you intend to play through Dead Space 1 and 2 before you touch Dead Space 3, I would stray away from the video series but if not, then this is the perfect place to go and catch up on the depth of this franchise.
The first episode is called Isaac’s Journey and it accounts the events of Isaac’s journey so far leading up to Dead Space 3.
The video opens up with the classic deep voiced narrator telling us all about Isaac’s ventures through the sci-fi horror that is Dead Space. All the way from the USG Ishimura to the colony known as Titan. EA chronologically goes through the retelling from the first Marker unearthed by Ishimura to the Markers built by EarthGov.
Throughout his journeys Isaac escapes but never truly gets rid of the Necromorphs, hideous grotesque creature born from the bodies of dead crew members.
All the while through Ishimura Isaac is following his girlfriend Nicole in an attempt to get rid of the marker and save the survivors of Ishimura, only find out that she took her own life prior to his arrival. He had been following her trail. Isaac is left broken and full of guilt of his girlfriend’s death. 
Three years later, Dead Space 2 kicks off another adventure of Titan. Isaac shortly is greeted again by the open visceral maws of Necromorphs.
He later finds out that the the huge station, known as Titan, led by EarthGov was using his memory of the Markers to rebuild them to harness their power. This turned against EarthGov and Isaac destroyed the Marker of ‘site 12’ along with Titan.
At the end of Dead Space 2, Isaac is able to escape with fellow Titan survivor Ellie from EarthGov and the fanatical Church of Unitology. Their journey is far from over…
This video series is sure to bring up great memories to veterans of the series and to set ablaze the curiosity of new comers.
