Football manager 2014 will be available for PS Vita on April 11th 2014
The newest installment in the incredibly popular series can now be played on your PS Vita.
Football manager 2014 PS vita release date was announced this week and will be out Friday 11th April 2014 via the PSN Store.
The PS Vita edition is the first handheld title to feature the newly introduced FM 3D match engine, which creates a sense of realism and immersion that football fans crave. The PS Vita version is to include a near replica of the classic mode found on the computer counter part.
The game has been developed with considerable support from Sony Computer Entertainment Europe. It has also been co developed by Sports interactive and their partner studio Hardlight (Sonic Dash and Sonic Jump).
“It’s great to finally be able to release FMC Vita. This game has been the most technically challenging that we’ve ever worked on – we’ve essentially fit a PC game that needs loads of memory, and a keyboard into Sony’s wonderful handheld with a touch screen – and the help we’ve had from all of our partners has been wonderful,”
says Miles Jacobson, Studio Director at Sports Interactive.
“To be able to take your home computer save onto the road adds a huge amount to the Football Manager experience.”
FM Classic was designed to be a simpler, more welcoming and less time consuming version than the the normal FM game. The PS Vita version will be the first time the classic series has been released as a single game. The game will be published by SEGA and will be available both physical and digital through PSN.
