Two years later and we have a sequel
With a popular TV show Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, TT Games and The Lego Group has announced Lego Ninjago: Nindroids for the Nintendo 3DS and PS Vita, the 30 mission long action orientated sequel to 2011’s Lego Battles: Ninjago.
Unlike Lego Battles: Ninjago’s Real Time Strategy styled game play, Lego Ninjago: Nindroids is a more action oriented title so it may end up playing more like TT Games other Lego titles without the stud collecting (hopefully). That’s just speculation at the moment but it has been confirmed that 30 “fast-paced, action-packed levels”.
These levels will follow key plot points taken from the show itself as you act to protect New Ninjago City from the army of the Overlord Nindroid. While protecting the city you’ll fly the Kai Fighter, infiltrate the Borg Tower, hack computers with the Techoblades and take to the streets with Cole’s Earth mech and Jay’s Thunder Raider and that’s just what we know now.
Lego Ninjago: Nindroids is due out this summer and lets end on a quote by Tom Stone, Managing Director of TT Games
“It’s been over two years since we introduced our first LEGO Ninjago game, and we are excited to bring the series back for our fans with LEGO Ninjago: Nindroids,” and “Young gamers will have loads of fun playing as their favorite Ninja, and we’re introducing new characters and new villains – it’s the ultimate Ninja action game for kids!”
