On September 12, 2012; Los Angeles, California based mobile game publisher and developer GAMEVIL partnered up with publisher Tap4Fun to publicize the Galaxy Empire invasion onto the Google Play Store. TAP4Fun a game publisher already known for its many successful hardcore strategy games on the IOS device. Galaxy Empire already being a big success for GAMEVIL in IOS app store will now be open to Android users. The IOS version already has the recognition for being one of the top grossing games in the app store in over 15 countries.
The business aspects are much easier to explain then the actual game play. Basically a space colonizing game that uses mining functions such as: building a colony, collecting resources, and exploring neighboring galaxies. You are eventually given quests that are wide in scope; from building your first mine to collecting resources to build research facilities, and eventually take part in intergalactic crusades to claim enemy territory. When not involved in battle, form diplomatic relation using the live chat feature.
Through the live chat and mailing feature you’ll be able to communicate with other Galaxy Empire users; allowing you to build partnerships, and discuss other game related topics.
VP and Head of GAMEVIL USA, Inc., Kyu Lee, seemed to enjoy the partnership with Tap4Fun even going so far to say, “It was a pleasure working with Tap4Fun to release Galaxy Empire to Google Play. Before saying, “We’re constantly working to work with developers to publish new games for our Android users, and we are sure that Galaxy Empire with capture will capture the attention of conquest and intergalactic space game fans.
