Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Online releases New Arctic Pack

A Ghost is only as good as their weapon, which is why good news comes to Ghost Recon Online fans today. Ubisoft has released the first add-on content, dubbed the ‘Arctic Pack’ for it’s recently released free-to-play shooter. Now you can become the ultimate ghost with a variety of new content, featuring six new weapon types, three alternative headgears & two armor variants.

Players will also get access to a new map, Tomsk-9, which is set in a nuclear reprocessing complex deep within Russia’s Arctic circle. It features the largest map in Ghost Recon Online, with both interior & outdoor environments to explore, and with a more proportioned map plan layered out, players will get to tactically use their terrain to their competitive advantage without feeling unbalanced.

Here is a full description of the Arctic Pack content:

A key role in bringing this content has been by the community feedback given by Ghost Recon Online players. They’ve contributed to updates for the game by identifying bugs and balance issues and these fixes will be applied into the Arctic Pack along with the new content.

The Arctic Pack is now available today, September 12th. Ghost Recon players can gear up by purchasing in-game via both game (Requisition Points) and premium currencies (Ghost Coins). The Arctic weapon variants will be available for a two week phase, with the Arctic headgear and body armor variants made available on a permanent basis in the in-game Store.

I've been a gamer since the NES days where I still love my retro games today. I'm an all-rounder when it comes to genre but my favorite types are story-driven games. I'm pretty competitive when it comes to playing online so be sure to bring it!
