Harry Potter Conjures Its Way To Kinect

Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment have announced the immediate launch of Harry Potter for Kinect. The game is available exclusively on Kinect for the Xbox 360. In the game the player is joins Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger as they embark on their magical journey through Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and beyond. 

Harry Potter for Kinect features events from the seven Harry Potter books and eight movies in the series. In the game players are given the opportunity to play as many of their favourite characters from the Harry Potter series. In Harry Potter for Kinect players can  create an individual witch or wizard character in their own likeness to fully integrate themselves into the game. 

In Harry Potter for Kinect, gamers can use the Kinect’s controller free and voice recognition technology to cast spells, duel and brew potions. Players will be able to cast spells at their opponents, repel Dementors and battle Death Eaters. Gamers will also be able to duck to escape the Whomping Willow, swim alongside Grindylows and even dodge Bludger’s during an action packed Quidditch matches.

Harry Potter for Kinect is based on all eight Harry Potter movies, in the game players can relive the movie’s most memorable moments. Gamers can enjoy their Sorting at Hogwarts, can solve the riddle of the Chamber of Secrets, take part in the Triwizard Tournament and even confront Voldemort in the final battle for the Wizarding world. Harry Potter for Kinect includes a number of competitive mini-games and play with  their friends and family in local co-op  or multiplayer.

Harry Potter for Kinect is now available to buy for the Xbox 360. The game has a RRP of £39.99.
