Pick some flowers, call an old woman a liar, and race around in realistic cars in this Rockstar games collection.
This holiday season might not have anything to appeal for fans of exploration challenges. So far we know that a shooter-game with ED-209 is coming out; another shooter which is proud of its game engine; and another shooter that wants to give us different meshes and textures, but the same guns, in space. Rockstar games, a publishing label of Take-Two Interactive Software might not have anything new to provide this holiday season, but they got four of their memorable titles available in a sweet collection package.
The Rockstar games collection will contain three huge, sandbox worlds and an open-world racing game for $60 bucks. Travel around in the west in Red Dead Redemption picking flowers or robbing banks. Experience the life of having an annoying cousin always calling you up in Grand Theft Auto IV. Keep calling everyone a liar in L.A. Noire while trying to read their MotionScan faces. Or just drive around in real-world cars in Midnight Club: Los Angeles Complete Edition.
The entire collection of Rockstar games will be available in one package. One set will be available for the PlayStation 3, while the other will come out for the Xbox 360. Normally these games might cost you over $240 bucks at launch, so you are saving yourself a lot of money if you don't have these games.
The only thing that might hold people back is there seems to be no confirmation of each game having all of their Down-Loadable Content (DLC). Grand Theft Auto IV will come with the two expansions: The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony. Midnight Club also has all the DLC with every real world vehicle and city sections released since launch. However there is no mention of Red Dead Redemption's DLC like Undead Nightmare.
Whether this Rockstar collection contains the DLC might not be so important as you are going to get four games for the price of one launch title. Keep an eye out for this collection this November 6th.
