IO Interactive and Square Enix studio revealed Contracts at Gamescon 2012 in Cologne today. The new online game mode for HITMAN ABSOLUTION , The fifth entry in the Hitman game series and will be set for release on the 20th of November 2012.
In this online mode you will be able to create your own Hit Challenges so in other words, you will be able to choose a level, target(s), and weopons your Agent 47 has access to, then you must set your rules based on who are going to be the witnesses, and the preferred completion style in your chosen amount of time.

Another awesome option from Contracts is that if you want to challenge your friends with your custom created contract they dont have to be online at that specific moment. You just send it to them, the next time there online they will be notified.
True assassins dont have friends, but dont worry because the game will have pre-packed Contracts from the Proffesional assassins of IO Interactive.

The new Contract mode is just simply Awesome, not just does it let you challenge other players but also yourself. The Developers will be able to lay back as it is the players who are creating the game.
So what do you gain after completing a successfull contract? Contract Dollars. The amount you get will depend on how well you performed your hit.
With the “Dosh” you will be able to unlock more elaborate and creative setups in witch to perform your Contract, and you can choose out of a Vast Arsenal full of weapons, disguises, upgrades, and techniques. Another way is to play through story mode the items and setups will then be gradually released.
HITMAN: ABSOLUTION follows The Original Assassin undertaking his most personal contract to date. Betrayed by the Agency and hunted by the police, Agent 47 finds himself pursuing redemption in a corrupt and twisted world.
