EA Sports continues to expand its impressive licensing resume by signing a new two-year deal to secure the English Premiere League’s Everton, which means Everton’s iconic Goodison Park stadium will make its debut in FIFA 14.

“We’re delighted to extend our partnership with Everton and especially to be adding Goodison Park to the stadium roster in FIFA 14. This will ensure fans will get a completely authentic experience. We look forward to working closely with the club over the next two years.” – Dan Holman, Head of UK Product Marketing, EA SPORTS.

EA paid a visit to the 121-year-old, 40-plus thousand person capacity park located in Walton, Liverpool to “capture the all-important details” of the ground.

“We’re delighted that EA SPORTS are once again joining our portfolio of official partners – and even more so that Goodison will make its debut in FIFA 14. The game is hugely popular so we have no doubt that Evertonians will be looking forward to playing inside the stadium, even if it is in a virtual sense!” – Dave Biggar, commercial director for Everton football club.

The team also went through standard 360-degree 3D digital head scanning at the Club’s training ground to make the players as life-like as possible.

EA is also bringing back the EA Sports Dugout, a kiosk-like feature with Xbox 360s and iPads to show off the game during selected games throughout the 2013/2014 season – the first game with the Dugout will be a home game against Newcastle United on Monday, September 30.

Come release on September 27, EA will also provide a special Everton FIFA 14 cover for supporters to download for free.

The partnership contract is tabled to last until the end of the 2014/2015 season.
