The last two content collections will be available on 9th August and 6th September 2012. We are not the sort of people to leave you yearning for more information, so let us look at a break down of what the final two installations of the Season of Content will bring.
Collection #3 – Chaos Pack
This pack offers both solo and cooperative gameplay for the Special Ops keen beans on an extensive scale. It features four shiny new Special Ops Mission which have been named Vertigo, Arctic Recon, Light ‘Em Up and Special Delivery. In addition to this you can look forward to FACE OFF maps: Vortex, U-Turn and Intersection.
The Chaos Pack isn’t called that for no reason, with the introduction of a new way to play Call of Duty it has earned its name accordingly. The Special Ops Chaos Mode boasts a frenetic form of combat that requires players to outlast waves of enemies whilst at the same time chaining kills on maps that are littered with power-ups. The aim is to achieve the highest possible score on some of the more favoured maps – Resistance, Village, Underground and Dome.
In all the Chaos Pack looks set to tide you over until the next set of content.
Collection #4 – Final Assault
Last but not least the Final Assault collection will hit you come September. This pack is tailored more towards the hardcore multiplayer fans, featuring a grand total of five new multiplayer maps.
- Gulch – Where you are sent into a forgotten mining town with mine shafts and equipments sheds for cover
- Boardwalk – Take out some enemies on the Jersey Shore for some fun in the sun and frolicking on the beach
- Offshore – Featuring oceanic oil-rigs
- Decommission – Fight amongst a maze of rotting ocean liners
- Parish – Take a trip to the French Quarter in war torn New Orleans where you can sort out your beef amidst the city’s rubble
Time for all you hardcore players to start learning some good map routes again.
