Snail Games announced that they are launching an additional closed beta for Age of Wushu on December 20th. “During the first Closed Beta, our company was flooded with requests from players around the globe. Each user was desperate to play Age of Wushu and join the adventure,” said Dick Roberts, EVP of Marketing for Snail Games. “With this trial option, we have found a way to let them experience the game alongside the rest of the world.”
The Age of Wushu closed beta was originally only available to players who pre ordered the game and some members of the press, but now North American players will have access to the game during the holidays. According to the developer, “All players will be able to engage in PvP battles, travel across Ming Dynasty Era China and make a name for themselves as a martial arts legend, but those on the trial will have a playtime restriction.”
Players who does not own an Elite, E3, New York Comic Con or Deluxe Edition of Age of Wushu can play the game for up to ten hours of unrestricted game time, but after that they are allotted only 60 minutes of play per day. Any skills learned, items earned, or levels gained during this closed beta will be available to players once the full game is unveiled. Players who want to play without restrictions will have to purchase the Deluxe Edition.
