Bethesda has recently announced that Dishonoured is getting some DLC. The DLC has been named Dunwell City Trials and it will be available for all consoles and PC at the 11th of December for either $4.99 or 400 MS Points. The DLC itself will have 10 challenge maps that will challenge you to use your powers as creatively as possible against wave based combat so it’s basically the challenge rooms in the new Batman games but with more hurricanes and at $4.99 it sounds pretty good even if it does sound very stealth unfriendly. It will of course also have new achievements and a leaderboard.
Next up is Forza Horizon which has two DLC’s coming. First is the December IGN pack which will of course be free to anyone who has the season pass which in case your curious is 4000 MS points. The IGN pack will be released on the 4th of December and for everyone else it will be 400 MS points. The pack will include a 2011 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor that will have a Halo styled custom paintjob which was designed by 343 Industries. The other cars include a 2008 Aston Martin DBS, a 2006 Hummer, a 2012 Ferrari F12berlinetta, a 2006 Ford GTX1, a 1993 McLaren F1 and a 1971 AMC Javelin -AMX. There will also be a Rally Expansion Pack that will be released on the 18th of December for 1600 MS points although again it will be free for anyone with the season pass. The pack will include new cars, events and also some new achievements.
Since giving Halo to 343 Industries Bungie seems to have been busy with their latest IP which is currently known as Destiny although it isn’t known if the game itself will even have Destiny in the name at all although Bungie has trademarked the name Destiny. The oddest thing about Destiny is that it will apparently be a sci-fi FPS MMO game and there will be around four games in the series. The game itself is due to be released in fall of 2013 exclusively for the Xbox 360. It seems a little odd that Bungie seem to want to make an MMO game for the Xbox of all things so it may get cancelled of changed from an MMO with the consoles history of failed MMO’s.
So that was news on the latest DLC but also on Bungie’s newest project so tell us about what you think about either the DLC or just on what you think about Destiny being an MMO of all things.
