Nintendo Announces A Gold Limited Edition Legend Of Zelda 3DS XL
The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds releases on Nov. 22 and to coincide with therelease Nintendo has announced a new Legend of Zelda theme 3DS XL. The bundle was announced by the franchise producer Eiji Aonuma, and it’s design is dedicated to the original Legend of Zelda NES cartridge. The console will be gold and black while featuring two tricforces to represent the parallel worlds of the game. The console will come with a downloadable code for The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds and will be available at a suggested retail price of $219.99.

Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of America’s executive vice president of Sales & Marketing said,

 

“This beautifully designed Nintendo 3DS XL system continues a tradition that has delighted our fans for decades. It’s a special bundle for a very special video game.”

The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds is set in the same world and timeline as The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past.  Many years have passed since the events of the SNES game and Link must now travel between the worlds of Hyrule and Lorule using a new mysterious power. This power lets Link become a drawing on the walls and also functions as a means to gameplay, allowing Link to solves puzzles with this new ability. A slightly new feature to the game will be the ability to buy/rent various items throughout the game, allowing players to explore any damage at their own will and pace.
