Nintendo Creates The Wii U Showcase Tour

Starting in London on September 27th, Nintendo will begin the first ever "Wii U showcase tour". Where the console creators will visit plenty of malls, shopping centers, and of course gaming expos and related events. The purpose of this new tour is to promote Nintendo's upcoming console, and allow thousands of eager gamers to get their hands on it before it hits the market this winter.

The tour is the first time some of the Wiii U pre-release games will be available for anyone to play, and a great time for those who haven't seen it yet in person to get some one on one time with the gorgeous 6.2 inch touch screen controller. Anyone who shows up will get a good look at the Wii U and all that it has to offer, providing insight on whether or not to purchase at launch date.

To throw in a little something extra, Nintendo has said that Mario and Luigi will be at all of the events in person to greet their fans. Additionally, plenty of prizes and unique challenges for certain games will be all over the show, and anyone can participate.

The 3DS XL will also be making an appearance, with tons of new titles that haven't even launched yet. Get ready to play the newest Pokemon and Mario games on a 90% bigger screen, which offers just that much more detail and immersion.
