Nintendo Direct October 3DS news Recap

Release Dates confirmed, dates pushed back and one of Nintendo’s best mascots is coming to the party

Early today Nintendo released their Nintendo Direct October edition where their talked about the latest Nintendo gaming and with that here’s the round-up of Nintendo Direct October 3DS news.

Start off this Nintendo Direct October recaps with the confirmation of release dates for three games. First we have the latest Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney game Duel Destinies which is set to hit the Nintendo eShop October 24th.

Once again you’ll be playing the part of Phoenix Wright whose returning to court for the first time in eight years after he lost his license. By the way anyone who wants to know how Phoenix lost his license can find out by playing Apollo Wright: Ace Attorney.

Next up is the game that everybody with a 3DS is waiting for The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds which is due out November 22nd. This game will also feature an interesting first for the series in that you can actually chose which order you face the dungeons.

The reason for this is because many of the essential items that you would need to complete the dungeons will now be available to either buy or rent for a new character named Ravio. Add this to the fact that like can move on walls while looking like a child drew him on it and this Legend of Zelda should be a fresh addition to this long running series.

The last game mention that has been confirmed this year is the localization of Square Enix latest RPG Bravely Default which is due out December 9th in Europe though it isn’t due till the first quarter for America although there are rumours that America will be getting the improved Bravely Default: For the Sequel. Players who pre-order it will be the special Collector’s Edition as well as an exclusive art book.

Along with announcing release dates Nintendo Direct October also announced that everyone’s favourite pink hero Kirby will be coming to the 3DS next year although there hasn’t been anything else released about it yet.

Finally while not announced on Nintendo Direct the latest Mario Party title Island Tour has been pushed back by Nintendo till early 2014 because they want to deliver the optimum gameplay experience, in a Mario Party game of all things.
