Yes, James Newton will be stepping down form his editorial job to become Junior Online Editor At Nintendo of Europe. He had this to say “Nintendo Life’s growth since I joined in 2008 has been amazing, and I’ve enjoyed every minute working with its talented and dedicated team,” said Newton. “I’m truly proud of what we’ve been able to build, and I’m confident that the site will keep expanding and improving after my departure. I’m incredibly excited to join the team at Nintendo of Europe next month and I can’t wait to start my adventure in Germany!”

Damien McFerran will take the position in exchange for being Nintendo Life’s Editorial Director and will be starting in August. He will bring a large amount of experience in video games and technology journalism, he also has had lots of work in publishing as he has worked with Retro Gamer and GamesTM and websites like Eurogamer and Pocket Gamer.
