Oddworld Inhabitants to bring Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty to several new game platforms

Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty is a modern recreation of a PS1 and PC classic (in some peoples opinion I didn’t play it). This E3 (2013 if you are reading in the future) has been the first time we have seen some footage of the actual game. Fans have been anxiously waiting for this recreation and Just Add Water has been working hard to create the game (I have been, they could be doing nothing. What I am saying is I am not stalking them).

Lorne Lanning, co-founder and co-owner of Oddworld Inhabitants said:

“These are exciting times for the independent sector of the industry and both Just Add Water and Oddworld Inhabitants are proud of what we’ve accomplished together. We are very happy to be able to release on so many platforms and look forward to giving new and old fans a chance to revisit Abe’s adventures with a modern twist.

It will be available on Sony’s next generation console, PlayStation®4, Nintendo Wii U, Apple’s OS X and open-source operating system Linux. As you can tell from the video this is a stylised game with great looks and a fresh appearance. Oddworld was created in 1994 by special effects and computer animation experts Sherry McKenna and Lorne Lanning, Oddworld Inhabitants is hell bent on creating the next generation of interactive entertainment. Beginning with its debut products, Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee and Oddworld: Abe’s Exoddus, Oddworld mixed a terrific of Hollywood artsy stuff with amazing gameplay to create experiences dripping with emotionality, empathy and entertainment value.
