More 1st Generation Pokemon in this Pokemon Easter promotion
Pokemon International has just announced their big Pokemon Easter promotion for both Pokemon X and Y and their Trading Card game with a special X/Y expansion treat. Both of these will be available from your local Gamestop in the UK, from the 4th of April.
For Pokemon X and Y players can either get Magmar for Pokemon X or Electabuzz for Pokemon Y. They’ll be distributed free in-store by redeemable codes available upon request at the counter and no you don’t need to buy anything either.

Both Magmar and Electabuzz will be holding their Magmarizer or Electirizer. Fans of the 4th generation of Pokemon and onwards will recognise them. Also if you’re wondering they’re both at level 30 and they come with their hidden ability Vital Spirit meaning they can’t be put to sleep.
Like Electabuzz and Magmar, fans of the Pokemon trading card game will also be able to get two cards based on X/Y at Gamestop just by asking and again no purchase required. The promotion packs all come with a special foil Pikachu as well as one random card from the X and Y expansion.
Finally in an event to show that the Pokemon X and Y games and the Trading Card Game take place in the same world there will be promotional spots which will air from April 7th from April 27th on Sky Kids, Cartoon Network, CiTV and Disney XD.
These Pokemon Easter promotion deals will start April 4th in Gamestop UK but the deal has also been confirmed in Spain from April 4th till June as well as Portugal from April 14th to June 1st at FNAC stores, Austria from April 11th to May 11th at EB Games and JB Hifi & Target and finally Game Mania in the Netherlands from April 14th till the 30th.
