Resident Evil 6 Demo Release

Owners of the Xbox 360 version of Dragon’s Dogma will be pleased to know that the anticipated title Resident Evil 6 will have its demo released to them today exclusively. It will be available to download from Xbox LIVE and will provide a good taster of the game until it is actually released on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 on 2nd October with the PC version following at a later date.

Resident Evil 6 takes you on a journey in which you encounter bio-terrorism on a global scale as you play with various characters across the map. This will mix the game up nicely and perhaps combat any threat of repetitiveness in the game.

The excitement of Resident Evil 6 arises from its varying locations, such as China, Eastern Europe and North America meaning you are no longer confined to one area. The fact that the virus has spread globally enables you to experience the virus in multiple environments and provides an intertwining story for you to play through on your own or cooperatively with a friend. Don’t expect to be traveling round with one character; RE6 features some old characters and some new including the old favorites Chris Redfield and Leon S. Kennedy who are joined by the new.

Another exciting feature, though maybe not to the taste of some older players is that zombies are now more threatening with abilities to jump at players and even use weapons against them… Not the nicest zombie apocalypse situation seeing as they are bad enough when they shuffle towards you in groups. As well as smarter zombies you can expect a whole host of new horrific creatures to kill or be killed by so don’t expect to get into the game with all the knowledge of what you are going up against.

With the combination of all these features alongside character customization and vehicles, Resident Evil 6 looks set to be a great addition to the series.

The rating for RE6 has not been released as yet thus brings with it speculation as to how gory or grimy this game is going to be.
