Prepare for the portable ride of a lifetime, as NAMCO BANDAI Partners and Atari have confirmed that RollerCoaster Tycoon 3D will be released for the Nintendo 3DS this October, for the Austrailian and European markets.

RollerCoaster Tycoon is a unique and innovative theme park simulator where you can create and maintain your very own amusment park. You control everything, and can change things up however you see fit. However the paying customers at your park will also react to everthing you do, creating the need for a balance to keep everyone happy. There was a time when RollerCoaster Tycoon was one of the most popular games for the PC, and developers n-Space have decided to make their grand return and conversion into 3D, only this time for a portable handheld.

Chris Sawyer was the creator of the original game in 1999, and since its birth its sold a mighty 11 million copies. For 12 years RollerCoaster Tycoon has been entertaining players with all of its theme park goodness, and now those fans can get ready for its release on the Nintendo 3DS.
