UFO Interactive, in partnership with Tragnarion Studios, announced today that Tragnarion’s recently released Xbox LIVE Arcade title, Scourge: Outbreak, has had its first major patch update. Tragnarion has updated several areas of the game highlighted by its growing community to ensure that the best experience can be had whilst playing. The studio also confirmed that the first DLC map pack is being released in due course.
YouTube rapper and songwriter, Dan Bull, has produced a short documentary, Launch Day, to celebrate the update and announcement. The documentary focuses on the people at Tragnarion and their reaction to the release of Scourge: Outbreak.
Dan has also recorded a music video that was inspired by the game, which prompted the studio to invite him to their offices for a chance to see how an indie developer does their thing.
After looking at the feedback from the community, the new update includes:
- Players can now only find and join games in progress, making it a lot easier to find online matches
- Weapon handling has been tweaked, fixing recoil, stability and spread issues
- The trial version has now been updated to include Co-op mode
- There is one PVP map available in the trail version
- A number of bugs have been fixed
