WWE 13
The new trailer for WWE 13 will show off new crowd AI and destructive furniture while the WWE Titans duke it out. Players can now see their favorite superstar wrestlers in better models than the previous installment, along with pulling off new moves and counters. Also, expect to see everything break around these brutes as they throw themselves through gates, drop off from cages, or smash through the announcer table.
The new updates for WWE 13 will show off better crowd response, new models, and new ‘OMG’ moments. The crowd will cheer when they see a wrestler kiss the mat, or boo if another wrestler breaks out of a grapple. Combine the roaring crowd with new finishers from the Predator 2.0 engine, and you have better experience from a live WWE match. Wrestler’s can now perform catching finishers, where they capture their opponent from the air and slam their flailing body into the ground, stage, or table. Finally, expect to see the massive wrestlers in their intimidating glory with new models to create the bigger wrestlers, some reaching over six feet tall!
WWE 13 will bring back old yet beloved, yet new wrestlers in the ring as well that don’t have a Y-chromosome. Players can edit the schedules or relationships each wrestler has, such as setting up television shows or making two wrestlers hate each other. Six WWE Divas, or female wrestlers, will be included in this game as well, so for any female gamers they could see their favorite wrestler duke it out in the ring – and hopefully break it.
I was wondering why some of the wrestlers in this video look to be from the 1990s, but apparently THQ decided to include them due to popularity. Expect to see classic wrestler’s like Stone Cold Steve Austin, Chris Jericho, Mick Foley (as Mankind), and Big Show The Undertaker. Anyone that pre-orders WWE 13 can get Mike Tyson, but I’m not sure if Tyson will have a catching finisher where he bites a person’s ear off.
WWE ’13 will be available late October, 2012 on the Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii.
