The Walking Dead Episode 2 Now Available

Telltale Games today have released the second episode of The Walking Dead, called ‘Starved for Help’.

At the moment it is only available on Microsoft 360, but will be available on the Sony Playstation 3 and PC/MAC come Friday June 29th.

The new episode follows on from episode one ‘A New Day’, and is the second of five to come.

The new Walking Dead episode proved very popular at the E3 2012 show, and won Gamespy’s Best Adventure Game award.
IGN also nominated ‘Starved for Help’ for Best Xbox 360 Game, Best PC Game, Best PS3 Game, Biggest Surprise, and Overall Best Game of Show, saying “…’gut-wrenching’ doesn’t even begin to describe Episode 2”. Official Xbox Magazine said that Episode Two is “…promising even more intensity than its nerve-jangling predecessor.”

“The tailored narrative design puts gamers in control of their own story within the universe of The Walking Dead in a way that appeals equally to hardcore gamers and to more casual gamers who are fans of the franchise. The most exciting aspect of getting off to such a great start is that this is just the beginning of the five episode series. The Walking Dead fans are going to experience some really great moments in the months ahead that are uniquely influenced by the choices they make throughout the season.”

The Walking Dead is set in the world of Robert Kirkman’s award-winning comic book series, following Lee Everett, a man convicted of a crime of passion.
If you remember, we covered the first episodes release not long ago on E:info games here

In this episode you will encounter more characters from the comic book series and new faces. You will also visit locations from Deputy Sherriff Rick Grimes’s story.

As in the first episode, anything you do decides how the game pans out, and will continue to do so throughout the episodes set for arrival, keeping you wondering if decisions could have been made differently.

Each episode costs 400 Microsoft Points on Xbox Live, or £3 on the Playstation Network or £15.99 for the Season Pass of all 5.
The PC/MAC Season Pass costs £20.99, which will give you each episode as they come (You cannot buy the episodes separately)
