The Walking Dead gets a distributer for a UK release with Avanquest Software

Are you by any chance a UK gamer that for one reason or another hasn’t got around to downloading all five episodes of Telltale Games award winning The Walking Dead series (Don’t worry neither have I)? Well don’t worry because Avanquest Software will be exclusively handling the UK release of The Walking Dead series on disc for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

In case you’ve somehow managed to avoid this series till now in which case congratulations you’re the target audience The Walking Dead games are based on a series of comic books written by Robert Kirkman. The series also has a popular TV show which has its own video game but the less we mention about that now the better.

You could say this is a pretty big deal for Avanquest Software because since the release of The Walking Dead the series has been given over 80 Game of the Year awards and recently won the BAFTA Video Games Awards for Best Story and Best Mobile Game.

The Walking Dead compliant pack will be released on May 10th on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC and will cost around £29.99 on Xbox 360 and PS3 and around £19.99 on PC.
